Positions up for election this year are Vice President of Events, Vice President of Publicity & Marketing, and Secretary. The position descriptions are listed below. Please ask your nominee whether they accept your nomination before you submit them.
You can nominate yourself! Remember, it is not the individual who holds the office but the member business/organization. Holding an office is your opportunity to get more involved in planning the direction of our Chamber and leading us into the future.

- Vice President – Events – will be the main point of contact and principal planner for all chamber events including, but not limited to, luncheons, networking events, annual meeting, ribbon cuttings and community forums. He/she will also be the primary fundraising contact for the chamber, working closely with the Vice President of Publicity and Marketing to seek out sponsorships for chamber events when needed.
- Vice President – Publicity & Marketing – will be the principal liaison between the chamber and the community-at-large. His/her responsibilities will include updating members about dates and points of interest, ensuring announcements of upcoming events are distributed to media outlets, updating web-based outlets about chamber activities and working with the Vice President of Events on fundraising for events and activities as set forth by the Board of Directors.
- Secretary – shall serve as secretary to the Board of Directors and cause to be prepared notices and minutes of meetings of the Board. The Recording Secretary shall also caused to be prepared notices and minutes of general membership meetings of the chamber. He/she will work closely with the Vice President of Publicity & Marketing and Vice President of Membership to ensure aforementioned notices are distributed as needed.
