Being a member of the Chamber is the highest profile opportunity available to invest charitably in the community. Your business/organization can find many exclusive cost effective ways to advertise within the community including: website, Relocation and Tourism Packets, sponsorship of special events, and Chamber community advertising. Advocacy:
The Estill County Chamber of Commerce concerns itself with many issues that impact the livability and well being of the community. Your interests are being represented when you join the Chamber. We provide an organized and unified voice for the local business community to our government leaders.
Business Connections:
Just being a member of the Estill County Chamber of Commerce allows you to make new business connections.
Business Information Display:
The Chamber offers the opportunity for you to display your business cards and literature in our office. We receive several hundred visitors each year providing excellent exposure for your business.
EDA Membership:
As a member of the Chamber, your business is also a voting member of the Estill Development Alliance. This means that you will have one vote for EDA Board of Directors elections as well as any other issues taken to referendum.
Event Sponsorship:
A variety of events and publications are available for sponsorship to promote your business and product or services. (Please see “special events” for list of events.)
Internet Presence on the Chamber Website:
Members receive a free alphabetical and categorical listing on the Chamber’s online Business Directory. The listing provides a basic company profile and contact information. If available, the website will also provide a direct link to members’ websites.

- Chamber Strategy Sessions:
Held 2 times a year-A chance for Chamber members to provide feedback to Chamber officers, EDA Board Members, and government officials about issues facing our community.

Meets once a quarter at breakfast time-Chamber members (Women) get discounted rates-speakers present at each event discussing business issues facing women in our area

Membership Decals:
Your business will gain credibility and show the public you support the community when the Chamber member decal is displayed in your business. You will receive one when you join the Chamber.
Membership Directory:
All Chamber members will be included in the membership directory. The directory is displayed alphabetically. The directory is also available on the Chamber website. The list will be given to other Chamber members. You can choose to include your entire company profile (fees apply to including profile).
Newsletter:
The Chamber membership receives the Chamber/EDA newsletter at no cost. It is sent to all members and includes new membership, upcoming events, and information about sponsors or speakers for the events.
Referrals:
Chamber members are always referred when a product or service request comes into the Chamber office.
Relocation/Tourism Information:
The Chamber is responsible for sending out relocation and tourism packets each year.
Chamber members receive discounted rates for advertising in these packets plus the exposure you receive from the Chamber list that is included in all packets.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies:
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies are available to Chamber members at no charge for grand openings, new location, new management/ownership, or expansion.
Small Business Counseling:
The Chamber will help you get in touch with the Small Business Development Center if needed. The Chamber will also provide events and/or classes that will help with business development. We will do whatever you need to make a smooth transition whether you are moving into Estill County or re-locating or expanding your business.
