Joe Crawford, Executive Director
Joe was born and raised in Estill County and is a 1998 graduate of Estill County High School. Following undergraduate studies in International Economics at Eastern Kentucky University and post-graduate studies in Diplomacy & International Commerce at the University of Kentucky, he joined EDA in early 2005 and took the helm as Executive Director in 2006. His interests include non-traditional community and economic development, especially inward-looking practices such as entrpreneurial development and historic preservation as well as utilizing social media to encourage community collaboration. Joe lives in Irvine with his wife Becky and their two children.
