Estill Development Alliance to Honor Community Leaders in Celebrating its 16th annual Estill County Hall of Honor

Irvine, Kentucky – The Estill Development Alliance is seeking nominations for its 16th annual Estill County Hall of Honor, designed to recognize both those individuals who have made significant contributions to Estill County and its people as well as those who are Estill County natives and have accomplished great things anywhere in the world. The award, which will honor 4 individuals or groups for their community activism, will be presented in February at the Estill Cooperative Extension office.

Nominations are open to any person or organization who has contributed to our community in a meaningful way. Nominees can apply themselves or may be nominated by a friend or colleague. An application form can be submitted below and sent directly to the  EDA’s nominating committee.

You may also mail nominations to EDA PO Box 421, Irvine, KY 40336 or drop off nominations at Citizens Guaranty Bank, 25 River Drive, Irvine, KY 40336.

All applications must be received by January 27, 2012. The inductees will be announced before the event.

The Hall of Honor celebrates community leaders; individuals who have envisioned a way to improve the community and have mobilized others to work with them to effect a change that has benefited the broader community. This award will honor four such individuals that has, in the 16 year Estill County Hall of Honor tradition, helped to make our community strong, vibrant and fair.
